In 2011, Nicole's AAU travel team became affiliated with the Alabama
Roadrunners. (The team was formerly a part of the Alabama Southen Starz.)
Even with the transition, the team retained its national standing and has
been invited to participate in the National AAU Super Sophomore Showcase
July 8 -10, 2011. Reference 2011 Summer schedule for more details.

The summer of 2010 proved to be one
of the best summers ever for Nicole. She
affiliated with the Alabama Southern Starz
14 and Under Girls Traveling Basketball Team
where she was immediately enlisted as a
starter. The season was fantastic. The Starz
won the 2010 Alabama AAU State Championship.
Nicole’s performance as accounted for by “Bama
Prep Girls” has resulted in her being listed
as a “Class of 2013 top player” in the state
of Alabama. (June 2010)
Additionally, the Starz won the
Kentucky AAU Super Regional and placed
second in the Alabama AAU super regional.
These major wins along with the highly
competitive schedule played by the Starz led
to the team being ranked number #9 in the
country and assigned as a top seed for the
AAU National Title. In terms of individual
summer travel ball performance, Nicole was
consistently the team’s leader and/or
co-leader in comprehensive scoring during
regular summer play, the Alabama State
Tournament, the AAU National tournament, and
Freshman Showcase exposure tournaments
(Orlando, FL).
